Terms of Service

Last updated: October 20, 2026 · Version 2026-10-20.2

These terms govern your use of the FastAF website and API. Together with the Acceptable Use Policy, the Data Processing Addendum and the Privacy Policy, they form the entire agreement between you and FastAF. By creating an account or sending a request to the API you accept them. You can reach us at legal@fastaf.co.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

FastAF is a developer tool: an HTTP API that retrieves publicly accessible web pages and search results on your instructions and returns them as structured data. These terms apply to the free tier, to prepaid credit packs and to pay-per-call requests without an account, to the website, the dashboard and the API.

2. Professional use only

The service is offered to businesses and developers acting for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession. By creating an account you represent that you are purchasing for professional use. Nothing in these terms deprives a person who nonetheless qualifies as a consumer of the mandatory protections of the law of their country of residence; section 7 explains the right of withdrawal.

3. The service and third-party content

FastAF supplies a technical retrieval and transformation service. We do not own the content you request, we do not grant you any licence over it, and you receive no right beyond whatever right you independently have to access and use it. Third-party results may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, removed or protected by third-party rights. You choose the targets and the queries; we execute your instructions and stream the result back to you without storing it. Google, Google Maps and Amazon are trademarks of their respective owners; FastAF is not affiliated with them.

4. Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for everything done with your API key, including by your own users and by any automated agent you configure. Keep keys secret, rotate them if exposed, and do not resell or share access without a written agreement with us. We store keys only as a hash, so we cannot recover a lost key: we can only issue a new one. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.

5. Acceptable use

Your use of the service is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: only lawful purposes, only publicly accessible content, never anything behind a login or a paywall, and you are responsible for the legality of your targets, of your instructions and of what you do with the data, including compliance with the terms of the sites you target and with data protection law.

6. Credits and billing

Credits are prepaid. Each pack grants a number of credits, consumed per request at the rates published on the pricing page. Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Credits from different purchases add together. The free tier grants 500 credits once, when you confirm your email address, valid 12 months. Credits are an accounting unit usable only for FastAF services: they are not money, not a deposit and not transferable. Requests that fail to return a result are not charged.

Purchases are final: credit packs are not refundable, whether their credits have been used or not. If you breach the Acceptable Use Policy, unused credits are forfeited.

Payments are processed by Norpo. Card payments and cryptocurrency payments settle to our own wallet and are final. Fraudulent payment activity is a material breach and may result in immediate suspension.

Pay per call without an account. You can also pay for single API requests over the x402 protocol, as described in the docs. Sending an x402 payment to the API is acceptance of these terms and of the Acceptable Use Policy. Payments are made in USDC on the Base network at the price stated in the 402 response, are settled only after the request returns a successful response, and are final once settled. There is no account and no balance, and completed requests are not refunded.

7. Consumers and the right of withdrawal

If you nonetheless buy as a consumer resident in the EU: by paying you expressly request that the service begin immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the credits are delivered to your account, which happens as soon as the payment settles. Statutory conformity rights for digital services remain unaffected.

8. Warranties and availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", as an obligation of means and not of result. We do not warrant continuous or error-free access, the accuracy or quality of third-party content, or fitness for any particular purpose. We warrant only that the service substantially conforms to its description on the website. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend your account immediately if you breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if we are required to by law, or if your use causes harm or operational issues. We may terminate your account for convenience with 30 days' notice or immediately for material breach. You may terminate by ceasing to use the service and deleting your account. On termination all rights to use the service cease, and we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

10. Data protection

We act as data processor for personal data you cause to appear in requests or results. You act as controller and remain responsible for compliance with data protection law. The Data Processing Addendum sets out the details. We do not store result data beyond technical necessity. Our Privacy Policy explains how we process account data.

11. Limitation of liability

Our maximum aggregate liability for any claims under or in connection with these terms is the lesser of €100 or the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This cap does not apply to liability for death or personal injury, for fraud, for willful misconduct, or where limitation is prohibited by law. We are not liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.

12. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the FastAF API, website, documentation and brand. You may use them only as needed to use the service. You grant us the right to process the requests you send to provide the service, but we claim no ownership of your input or your downstream use of results. Neither party may use the other's trademarks without permission.

13. Changes

We may change these terms by posting a new version on this page. If the change is material and would disadvantage you significantly, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the change takes effect means acceptance. If you do not accept, stop using the service. Changes to the pricing page do not require separate notice; credit costs are those in force when the request is made.

14. General provisions

These terms are the entire agreement and supersede prior understandings. If a term is unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. We may assign our rights; you may not without our consent. Nothing here creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship. Notices to us must be sent to legal@fastaf.co; we will notify you at the email on your account.
