FastAF vs toll402

Verdict: toll402 or FastAF?

Choose toll402 if

  • You want one gateway to many third-party vendors (SEO, enrichment, market data).
  • The lowest per-call price on a single Google search matters more than one documented response schema per endpoint.

Choose FastAF if

  • You want a documented response and a fixed price per endpoint, published in the OpenAPI spec.
  • You also want one-time prepaid packs for API-key and MCP use.

FastAF limits

  • Per call, a FastAF Google search over x402 ($0.003) costs more than the $0.001 search price read on toll402.
  • No marketplace of third-party vendors: only FastAF’s own endpoints.
  • Public pages only: login-only, paywalled and private-network targets are refused.

Verified on 2026-10-27. Short answer: toll402 is a gateway that resells thousands of tools from many vendors behind one pay-per-call interface. FastAF is a narrower catalogue of public-web data endpoints (Google search, news, jobs, Amazon, eBay, page scraping and more) with its own fixed prices. Both accept x402 payments in USDC on Base without an account.

Same job, FastAF side

curl -i "https://api.fastaf.co/x402/v1/serp?query=best%20espresso%20machine"

The unpaid call returns HTTP 402 with a PAYMENT-REQUIRED header; sign it with an x402 v2 client and retry. Per-endpoint request and response examples are on /apis/; the x402 flow is explained in How x402 works.

When to choose toll402

  • You want one gateway to many third-party vendors (SEO, enrichment, market data) instead of integrating each.
  • The lowest per-call price on a single Google search matters more than a fixed, documented response schema per endpoint.

When to choose FastAF

  • You need Google, Amazon, eBay, news, jobs and scraping responses with the same documented fields on every call, and prices that appear in your own OpenAPI spec.
  • You also want one-time prepaid packs for key-based use ($10 for 20,000 credits; a Google search is 5 credits) next to x402.
