## What does a SERP checker measure?

A search engine results page, or SERP, is the list returned for a query. This tool focuses on organic listings rather than advertisements, Maps packs or other search features. Use it to inspect which pages appear for a topic, compare competing titles, or check whether a domain appears in the returned top ten. The result is a snapshot, not a permanent ranking or a guarantee about what every visitor will see.

## How do I check a domain?

Type a specific query and use the two-letter country code to choose a country context, such as us or it. The default is us. Enter a bare domain such as example.com if you want a position lookup. Matching includes its subdomains, including www. A missing match means the domain was not found among the returned results; it does not mean the domain is absent from Google.

## What are the free limits?

You can make three attempts per day with this tool. The allowance resets at midnight UTC and is shared by nearby addresses in the same IPv4 /24 or IPv6 /64 network. There is also a shared daily budget of 300 attempts across all free tools, so capacity may finish earlier. Attempts sent to the data service count even if a page or query fails. These limits are separate from the account trial and do not spend account credits.

## How can I automate search checks?

This browser form is for occasional manual checks, not scheduled rank tracking or bulk extraction. For software workflows, create an account to receive your first API key by email, then use the Google Search API. Keep a consistent query and country when comparing snapshots. Review the source pages before drawing conclusions from a title or position, because search results can change between requests.
