# FastAF x402 price list

Prices for FastAF data routes change rarely, but old screenshots and posts keep circulating. This page is the reference. The live source of truth is always the HTTP 402 quote each route returns. Start at [fastaf.co](/).

## How do you read this page?

The table is built from the API's pricing code when the site is deployed, so it matches what the API charges. If a screenshot, a forum post or an old article shows a different number, trust the 402. All prices are per**successful** call, in USDC on Base mainnet: no account, no minimum, no subscription and no monthly fee on this path.

## Prices per successful call (USDC on Base)

Route (`GET https://api.fastaf.co/x402/v1/<name>`)

Price

`serp`, `search` (alias of serp), `amazon`, `reddit`

$0.003

`maps`, `youtube`, `scrape`, `news`, `scholar`, `jobs`, `linkedin_jobs`, `patents`, `flights`, `bing`, `walmart`, `zillow`, `ebay`, `x`, `screenshot`

$0.005

`shopping`, `ai`, `images`

$0.01

`extract` (POST with a JSON body)

$0.02

`linkedin` (public profiles)

$0.06

That is 24 routes: FastAF's 23 data endpoints, plus `search`, an alias of `serp` at the same price. The table is generated from the API's pricing code at build time. Full spec: [https://api.fastaf.co/openapi.json](https://api.fastaf.co/openapi.json)

## What does each price buy?

**$0.003**, the lowest tier: Google organic results (`serp`, alias `search`); Amazon search, product, offers and bestsellers (`amazon`); public Reddit feeds (`reddit`).

**$0.005**: Google Maps places; YouTube search and transcripts; any public page as Markdown or HTML (`scrape`); Google News; Google Scholar; Google Jobs; LinkedIn job listings; Google Patents; Google Flights; Bing results; Walmart search pages; Zillow listings; eBay listings; public X profiles; screenshots (`screenshot`).

**$0.01**: Google Shopping prices; Google AI answers; Google Images.

**$0.02**: JSON extracted from a public page against your JSON Schema (`extract`, POST, same price for every page).

**$0.06**: one public LinkedIn person profile (name, headline, location, public identifier and about text when available; work experience and company pages are not included).

$0.003 for a Google search is the lowest price any FastAF x402 route has.

## Read the live quote yourself

```
curl -i "https://api.fastaf.co/x402/v1/serp?query=coffee"
# HTTP/1.1 402 Payment Required  -> body lists price, asset, network and payTo
```

The `accepts` object in the response lists `amount`, `asset`, `network` and `payTo`. USDC has 6 decimals, so an `amount` of `3000` means $0.003 and `5000` means $0.005. A bare curl only reads the quote; it never pays. No account is needed: your x402 client signs the quoted amount and retries.

## What about options that cost more?

Each route has one fixed price at its default configuration. Options that would make a request more expensive than that price, for example SERP `advance_search`, are not sold over x402: a paid request with them is refused with`options_need_api_key` before any charge, and they need API-key billing. The price an agent sees before signing is the price it pays.

## Do failed calls cost anything?

No. A call settles only when it returns data. If the upstream source blocks the request, times out or returns nothing, the call fails and the payment is not settled, so retries after an error are not double-billed.

## How do you budget a job with the table?

Every price is fixed per call, so the cost of a job is the number of calls times the route price:

*   1,000 Google searches through serp: 1,000 × $0.003 = $3.00
*   200 Zillow search pages: 200 × $0.005 = $1.00
*   50 public LinkedIn profiles: 50 × $0.06 = $3.00

Failed calls add nothing. See [Budget a scraping job before you run it](/how-to/budget-scraping-job-fixed-prices/) and[Cap agent spend per call with fixed x402 prices](/how-to/agent-spend-caps-per-call-pricing/).

## Where else are the prices published?

*   in the 402 challenge of each route (authoritative);
*   in the x402 catalog: [`https://api.fastaf.co/.well-known/x402`](https://api.fastaf.co/.well-known/x402);
* in the OpenAPI spec, where each route description states its price.

All three come from the same pricing code as this table.

## What x402 does not cover

* The MCP server at `https://api.fastaf.co/mcp` (23 tools) is **not** paid with x402. It uses an API key or OAuth and draws from your account balance ([add it to Claude Code, Codex or Cursor](/how-to/add-fastaf-claude-code-codex-cursor/)).
* Free tier: 500 credits every month after you verify your email, for API-key and MCP use only: x402 calls are always paid. Optional prepaid credit packs for API-key and MCP use are on [Credit packs and plans](/pricing/).

## Can you test before spending real USDC?

**Try FastAF free on testnet.** Point your agent at `GET https://api.fastaf.co/x402/v1/demo/search?query=...` on Base Sepolia. It costs $0.001 in test USDC from the [Circle faucet](https://faucet.circle.com/), returns up to 3 real results, and allows 5 verified attempts per IP per UTC day (failed ones count too). When it works, switch to `/x402/v1/serp` on Base mainnet ($0.003 per successful call). Copy-paste example: [fastaf-mcp/examples/agentkit-x402](https://github.com/fastaf-co/fastaf-mcp/tree/main/examples/agentkit-x402).
