Lists of “free tiers with no card” are popular because developers want to test before committing. FastAF keeps it simple. Start at [fastaf.co](/).

## Option 1: 500 free credits a month

Sign up and verify your email: you get 500 free credits every month to use on any route or the MCP server (`https://api.fastaf.co/mcp`). That is about 100 Google searches (5 credits each) or 500 basic page scrapes (1 credit each). Free credits reset to 500 at 00:00 UTC on the 1st of each month and do not carry over. No card. They do not apply to x402 calls.

## Option 2: no account at all (x402)

Call a REST route and pay only for what you use, in USDC on Base:

```
curl -i "https://api.fastaf.co/x402/v1/serp?query=best+mcp+servers"
# 402 Payment Required -> your x402 client pays $0.003 and retries
```

Google search costs $0.003 per call, scrape $0.005, shopping $0.01. 23 data endpoints in total; see the [x402 price list](/pricing/x402-price-list/).

## Which one to pick

* Testing in Claude Code, Codex or Cursor: option 1 with the MCP ([setup](/how-to/add-fastaf-claude-code-codex-cursor/)).
* An agent with a wallet: option 2, no signup.
