# Compare web data APIs

## How should you use these comparisons?

Each comparison below links to a full page with a verdict (choose them if..., choose FastAF if...), prices read from the other vendor’s own site with the date we read them, and FastAF prices taken from FastAF’s pricing code. Prices change: always check the vendor’s page before you buy.

FastAF in one line: 23 data endpoints (Google verticals, Bing, Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Zillow, YouTube, Reddit, public LinkedIn and X profiles, scraping and screenshots), usable with an API key over REST or MCP, or paid per successful call over x402 in USDC on Base with no account. Google search is $0.003 per call over x402 ([x402 price list](/pricing/x402-price-list/)).

## How do the free tiers compare?

FastAF, Tavily, Firecrawl and Exa side by side: the free allowance, what one search costs and what 1,000 searches cost once you pay, with each vendor’s source and read date, in [search API free tiers compared](/compare/free-tier/).

## The comparisons

### [FastAF vs SerpApi](/compare/serpapi/)

SerpApi is a search-results API sold in monthly plans, with engines FastAF does not offer (such as Baidu, Yandex, Google Hotels and app stores). FastAF fits bursty or experimental usage, with credits bought once and without expiry, and agents that pay for themselves over x402. It also adds commerce, real-estate and scraping endpoints on the same balance.

### [FastAF vs Exa](/compare/exa/)

Exa searches its own index of web pages, people, companies and papers, and prices page contents and research tasks separately. FastAF returns live Google results (organic, Maps, News, Shopping, Scholar, Jobs) and source-specific JSON for commerce and public profiles, with x402 on every endpoint.

### [FastAF vs Tavily](/compare/tavily/)

Tavily bundles search, extract, crawl and research for RAG pipelines, with a free monthly allowance. FastAF fits better when you need Google verticals or Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Zillow or YouTube data, and when usage is irregular, so credits should not reset every month.

### [FastAF vs Firecrawl](/compare/firecrawl/)

Firecrawl turns whole websites into LLM-ready Markdown, with crawling, mapping and change monitoring on monthly plans. FastAF focuses on source-specific JSON next to single-page scraping, with one-time packs without expiry or per-call x402.

### [FastAF vs Apify](/compare/apify/)

Apify is a platform of Actors you pick, configure or build, billed by monthly plan and usage. FastAF is a fixed set of documented endpoints: no Actor to choose or maintain, a fixed price per call and no monthly platform fee.

### [FastAF vs toll402](/compare/toll402/)

toll402 is an x402 gateway to many third-party vendors and has the lowest single-call Google search price we found. FastAF offers one documented response schema and one fixed price per endpoint, published in its OpenAPI spec, plus prepaid packs for API-key and MCP use.

### [FastAF vs serp402](/compare/serp402/)

serp402 is an x402 search service whose catalogue also covers hotels and travel, with settlement on Solana as well as Base. FastAF covers Google search, News, Jobs, Flights, Patents, Bing, Amazon, eBay and scraping, priced per endpoint from $0.003, with a prepaid API-key option.

### [FastAF vs AgentBIT](/compare/agentbit/)

AgentBIT is a catalogue of agent tools that goes beyond web data, such as wallet and company checks. FastAF is the narrower choice for reading Google results, news, jobs, Amazon or eBay, or scraping pages, at a fixed documented price per endpoint.

### [FastAF vs Amazon PA-API](/compare/amazon-pa-api/)

Amazon's Product Advertising API serves affiliates who keep an Associates account with qualifying sales. FastAF returns public Amazon search, product, offers and bestseller data without Associates enrollment, and an agent can pay per call without registering.

### [FastAF vs Serper](/compare/serper/)

Serper sells raw Google results in one-time packs valid for 6 months, and costs less than FastAF per search at every pack size. FastAF fits when an agent also needs non-Google sources, a hosted MCP server, credits without expiry or x402 pay-per-call with no account.

### [FastAF vs ScrapingBee](/compare/scrapingbee/)

ScrapingBee sells page scraping in monthly credit plans that expire after a month, and costs less than FastAF per page when a plan is used in full. FastAF fits when you want no subscription, x402 pay-per-call with no account, or source-specific JSON next to scraping.

## What should you compare when choosing?

* **Coverage:** does the API have a dedicated endpoint for your source, or will you scrape and parse pages yourself?
* **Billing model:** monthly plan, one-time credits or per-call payment. Per-call x402 suits agents with their own wallet and spending cap.
* **Failure cost:** on FastAF’s x402 path only successful calls settle, so retries after errors cost nothing.
* **Interface:** REST, MCP or both. FastAF’s MCP server has 23 tools and uses an API key or OAuth.

Try it: 500 free credits every month after email verification (about 100 Google searches), at [fastaf.co/signup](/signup/).
